The Good Food Group’s NPD division is headed up by Jon Langton, who has over 14 years experience in product development and management, specialising in the healthy/ active nutrition industry. Jon Supports the wider business and has developed & launched thousands of products that are in the market today – including hundreds of products for the world’s largest sports nutrition brand.

Own Label

Product Development

The Good Food Group has it’s own OL opportunities for retailers, offering them exciting products, in innovative formats, in an efficient time-frame. An example of a OL brand we developed and launched is Your Good Health Co.

Our team of leading specialists developed our first two products to help new and expecting mothers feel their best during and after pregnancy.

The two product lines were launched into Aldi stores nationwide, delivering a product that offered high-quality vitamins at an affordable price, whilst diversifying Aldi’s offering as a retailer.

Your Good Health Co has now developed into a Beauty From Within brand, with a mission statement to change the face of wellness.

Product Development

 The Good Food Group also have the capacity to support established brands with their NPD to bring new products to market. An example of a brand we’ve supported with this is Swisse Me.

Our team aided the Swisse Me Management Team in the strategic NPD phase to ensure the correct products were being briefed, that would deliver on an innovation level, but also would drive the correct commercial impact for the brand.

The Good Food Group then developed and launched multiple products under the Swisse Me brand, including powders, balls, tablets, gummies and more.

The Good Food Group continues to support Swisse Me with product development services.

Product Development

The Good Food Group also supports retailers with own brand and exclusive branded product development support.

We provide strategic support to retailers by analysing the current UK landscape, assess current trends and also provide advice on future trends based on data provided through our partners, Nielsen IQ.

Our team currently supports a wide variety of major UK retailers with OL and private label product solutions, including Grocers, Discounters, High Street, Pharmacy and Beauty Retailers.
